Prof Kevin Morgan

Kevin Morgan is Professor of Governance and Development and Dean of Engagement at Cardiff University. He has 30 years’ experience in innovation policy development.

Prof Morgan was the Principal Investigator (PI) on the ESRC Procuring Sustainability project that won the first ever ESRC Impact Award for outstanding impact on public policy in 2013. He was PI on the EU FP7 “SmartSpec” project that examined design and delivery of the Smart Specialisation programme, the EU’s regional innovation programme for the 2014-2020 programming period.
