Prof William David

Prof Bill David FRS is a Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) Senior Fellow, academic lead of the NH₃ Haber-Bosch demonstrator plant at Rutherford, and Chair in Materials Chemistry at University of Oxford.

He is an internationally leading expert in materials chemistry, with ongoing interests in NH₃ utilisation and energy demand, including recent work on the thermal cracking of hydrogen from NH₃ feedstock.

He has produced over 400 related international publications and has been the recipient of several international prizes in the area, including the John B Goodenough Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2015.
