Dr Alexis Cova has research experience in the area of combustion, particularly in auto-ignition, kinetic-chemical modelling and advanced low temperature combustion (LTC). This is all based on alternative diesel-like fuels such as HVO, OME, biodiesel and alcohols, etc.
His current research focuses on the use of ammonia as an alternative fuel in dual-fuel configuration and on the study of exhaust after-treatment systems based on solid catalysts.
