Dr Mike Mason presented ” Safe Ammonia” at the December 2025 meeting of the MariNH3 International Advisory Board.

In this talk he argues ammonia is a safe, viable fuel when designed thoughtfully. He shows that ultra-cold, foam-based storage greatly reduces evaporation and toxicity risks and that with simple engineering innovations and proactive safety planning, ammonia can be deployed widely and confidently as a clean, reliable future fuel.
